Have you ever wished your horse was more confident in new situations? Maybe you’re interested in Cowboy Challenge or Extreme Cowboy Challenge events. Perhaps you have a young horse that needs desensitization, or maybe you’re simply looking for a fun new horsemanship challenge.
Whatever your goal, there’s a place for everyone at the Riverwood Ranch Obstacle Playday!
Our obstacle playdays are designed to be relaxed, welcoming, and pressure-free. Riders work through obstacles at their own pace while knowledgeable staff are available throughout the day to offer guidance and encouragement.
Obstacles provide an excellent opportunity to improve trust, confidence, patience, and communication while exposing your horse to new experiences in a safe environment.

How the Playday Works
– Hours of Operation: 9am- 6pm
– Cost: $40 +gst per HORSE (Riders are encouraged to bring multiple Mounts
– Man Made and trail obstacles available. Course is grass and outdoors unless extreme bad weather and then obstacles will be moved indoors
– Wranglers available on site at any time to assist riders reaching new goals -Camping available
-All ages and experiences welcome

12 riders will be allowed per time slot.
TIME SLOT 1: 9am-12noon
TIME SLOT 2: 12pm- 3pm
TIME SLOT 3: 3pm- 6pm

Registration will be completed with $40 +gst non refundable payment per horse to riverwoodranchltd@gmail.com

Make a weekend of it and enjoy everything Riverwood Ranch has to offer! Camping is Available at $25 +gst per Trailer rig per night and $10+ gst per horse stall. Enjoy the self guided trail system and indoor arena in addition to the obstacle course.
